Just a few things I'd like to ask and mention.

Static Fear, you may remember I talked about it a while back, its the movie about the worlds rotation stopping and causing devestating effects to us all. HaR-HaR-HaR biggrin All sorted is how the earth stops (it took a lot of chats with physicists and personal conclusions), also sorted is cast etc etc, its just the script, its a bit linear and the plot line sucks. Now, we all know that every blockbuster movie goes from equlibrium, to dis-equilibrium, and then back to disequlibrium. A lot of movies have semi plots etc... But, I still think my plot is linear.

    Here it is in brief:

    - Protagonist is called to meet old friend.
    - Old friend tells protagonist of a problem.
    - Protagonist stresses and tries to leave.
    - Old friend tells pro. real problem.
    - Pro. craps himself and decides to stay
    - Pro & old friend figure out a way to survive
    - Pro survives

Now. The thing is in most movies once the problem is outlayed (in this movie, that the earth is going to stop rotating) and so they go about stoppping it, for eg, sending a space ship up to blow a meteor or whatever. However this film doesnt have that, cos i cant think of something to have.

The clause is, there is no way to stop the earth stop rotating, its going to happen like it or not. The only thing i guess the protagonist could do is warn everyone.

    Shite its soooo hard!!!!

    Any ideas?

    :/

The protagonist pours an hallucinogenic poison into the water supply,
blissfully killing off the entire planet.

    Wink

How about scraping the whole thing and writing something decent?

Very well, perhaps the protagonist realises the world is going to end, and just sets about enjoying himself for the last few days. Doing all the crazy stuff he ever dreamt about with no need to think of the consequences. It would be quite a liberating feeling i think. Society and etiquete would become completly irrelevant as would crime etc etc.

first of all what the hell is it about?...is it a sci fi flick or just a buddy movie with the disaster in the backgroung?....i think you have written yourself in to a preverbial black hole so therefore dont try and come up with the answers...instead try and make it somewhat philosophical and "worldly"...eg 2001 A Space Osyssey.

    LoL.

Hey, who said writing an original plot-line was easy? Give it a chance to grow on you. And its more about the disaster than the buddy thing.

If you have a problem with Static Fear, look forward to our horror flick instead wink
